Barcelona Drinks with a View
Who doesn’t love a good drink with an incredible view? In Barcelona, drinks with a view usually involves an elevated experience.
Luckily, there is no shortage of rooftop bars and restaurants to enjoy a good drink, tapas, and scenery.
Fortunately, Barcelona has an abundance of clear sunny days. The views include the stunning Barcelona skyline, Mediterannean Sea, and iconic architecture.
In addition, walking the Barceloneta Beach promenade can be enough. Of course, with a drink in hand!
When visiting a new city I find it’s good to pause and take it all in. Appreciate the city from a different point of view.
Typically, I like to include these rooftop spots to elevate my sight-seeing experiences. Of course, catching the Barcelona sunset atop a hotel rooftop bar is not to be missed.

Follow this guide to Barcelona drinks with a view to help narrow down your search. I picked a few spots throughout the city. As always, remember to enjoy yourself and be social!
Hotel Ayre: Attic Terrace
This hotel and rooftop bar are located one block away from La Sagrada Familia. Take in 360-degree views of Barcelona from the Attic Terrace rooftop bar.
Additionally, the views of Gaudi’s La Sagrada make this my top choice in the area.
Make sure to take a break from the La Sagrada tourist crowds. Have a drink with an unparalled vantage point. The 9th floor terraza design is open and spacious.
Expect to take plenty of Instagram worthy shots to share with your friends.
Location: Carrer de Rosellon, 390, Eixample neighborhood
Mandarin Oriental Hotel: El Terrat
El Terrat offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of Passeig de Gracia. The rooftop is designed to be serene and tranquil. It is located on the 9th floor of the 5-star Mandarin Hotel Barcelona.
This elevated oasis is a prime spot to relax and have a glass of cava. In addition, the Peruvian cuisine is excellent. Enjoy a picturesque Barcelona sunset with some tasty food and drinks.
The hotel is situated between Placa Cataluyna and Gaudi’s Casa Botllo. This rooftop terrace is in the heart of the city. I love the 360 degrees views and up close sightlines of Barcelona’s famed architecture.
I make this a regular stop to take a break from shopping and sight seeing.
